Hotel Description The Hotel Torbräu, Munich?s oldest hotel, has been offering a warm welcome to guests since 1490. Its location is excellent only a short walk to the Marien Place, in the heart of Munich, nearby the historic Isartor which is one of Munich?s original main tower gates. The 92 rooms range in size from snug singles through spacious doubles, to two-room suites. The most expensive double rooms and suites offer complimentary drinks and tea-and coffee-making facilities. All the rooms have modern bathrooms, an air-conditioning, private safe, internet connection and free mineral water. The Kirchlechner family, the owners for over one hundred years, is dedicated to ongoing improvements. Mixing traditional and contemporary is the philosophy of the owner Werner Kirchlechner.
